The Shakespeare 4' Quick Connect VHF Antenna features a splash protection cap to protect the connector on the mount when the antenna is disconnected. The standard mount design allows you to easily upgrade to a high-end Shakespeare antenna without purchasing a new mount. With a quick connect system, it allows you to screw or unscrew the antenna to disconnect or connect. The high quality connection makes it so that no noise is generated due to vibrations.
